Semmottis

Vaikka tänään menisitkin istumaan oikealle tuolille iltapalalla, voit unohtaa paikkasi huomenna.

Miten uudet ihmiset tulevat käyttäytymään ja missä he tulevat istumaan aterioilla?

Olen pakkaamassa.

”Nyt on taas ilta tullut”(So now has night once again come) someone said to me at 3:30 pm today after supper time.

”Ilta tulee taas”(Night comes once again) another person said to me at 6:30 pm today after evening meal time.

Even if you today went to sit in your right chair for evening meal, you might forget your place tomorrow.

When someone goes to sit in a wrong chair because they forgot were they place is or maybe just wants to sit in a new place, there is always a moment of confusion. Some of us are waiting for an expert(someone that works here) to get the person on the right track, some are using the situation to have a small fight, one person leaves because of an uncomfortable situation, some people look down and others try to turn it into a joyfull moment.

How will the new people behave and where will they sit during the meals? It is not planned and still there will be a place. It is common for visitors to be unsure of how it is apropriate to behave. Is it ok that I walk in this hallway? Can I visit at this time? Can I sit beside my mother while she eat? If not you, who else should walk, visit or sit?

”I have never been at a place where there are so many people, it is so interesting to observe.” Said the lady that arrived yesterday. I have been observing as well, but today I for the first time fell asleep in the rocking chair while all the interesting people was hanging around. The magic two weeks has passed and from now on I could start knowing how I would make Kajalakoti my home. If I was to do that, I wished that I could fall asleep many times in the common area and have enough time to make it my home before I was off to tomorrowland.

These are words that drown into the paper soup.
These are words that remain.
These are words that have wings.

I am packing.

Hello love and congratulations! You are brave in the most Winnie the Poohish way I know about. I am looking forward to seeing you and talk to you here in Tromsø, about this and other projects. Tomorrow we start the daily performances at The World Theatre. We'll talk more about that too when you get here. Big hug Nina

Hey Kristina

I hope you had a good two weeks and got to learn quite a bit. It sure seems like it. It's been interesting and fun reading your blog.

Yesterday I went to have a gelato and an old man sat to me and started talking to me - he said he was 85 years old - not in best condition but he really thanked God that he had arrived to 85 years. It was nice to hear that he was not afraid, nor upset, nor bored...but thankful of all the years. These days, at 30 we begin to panic about our old age. I wonder why we want to always remain 29??

Have a good trip to Tromso! See ya soon
